It is possible to use normal PC with Windows NT for Mistral. This reflect
to cost performance. For cliant PC, you can use not only Windows 95/98/NT

Multi-Protocol
Mistral
supports multi-protocol such as TCP/IP, NetBEUI and AppleTalk. You can
print and scan from multiple different clients like Windows, Mac and UNIX
under various kind of network environment.

is designed to work on a standard Windows NT Workstation/Server. You can
enjoy the then current best cost performance by replacing the PC platform
on which Mistral is running.
Color
matching
Mistral
comes with the color matching software as a standard feature. By making
color correction between ideal colors and the colors of the actual output,
you can get the perfect color anytime in a very easy manner. Also the
professional level color management software will be available as an optional
feature, which supports ICC profile download, DIC/TOYO/PANTONE and etc.
Web
Management Tool
You
can operate Mistral through WEB browser from any remote clients. Accounting,
job management, spool management, color matching as well as scanning can
be done from your desktop.
The document on the scanner of the remote copier can be scanned using
WEB browser through network. The images are to be either stored on the
server or downloadable to the client.
PostScript
Supporting
PostScript, Mistral provides industry standard device independent
print output.
NTL MAC PAP SERVER
Mistral
comes with NTL MAC PAP SERVER as a standard feature. When you print from
Mac, you don't need expensive Windows NT Server any more.
NTL
FONT DOWNLOADER
Mistral
supports NTL FONT DOWNLOADER as a standard feature. You can download the
fonts to mistral server HDD.
FILTER
Many
optional software are available with Mistral such as HPGL2 and DXF for
the industrial CAD application.
Direct
print out for TIFF/PS/PDF/AI
Mistral is designed for Windows2000*/NT Workstation/Server/Embedded WindowsNT/Linux/Sun SPARC. Mistral has many actual results in a business-use printing system. Using Mistral means, "having the highest performance by at the lowest cost".

Mistral supports the protocols; such as TCP/IP, NetBEUI, AppleTalk, ETC. Under various network environment, Windows, Mac, UNIX, etc. can perform two or more computers to different printing and different scanning (color copier etc.).
In Mistral, a print server/controller can be supervised by the web browser of every client regardless of OS or a model. Fee collection management, job management, spool management, color matching, etc. can control by the desktop.
The scanner of a copy machine can be operated from a web browser. The scanning image can be managed by the server side or downloading to a client side.
Various Japanese fonts are downloaded to a server's HDD. You can use them as the standard tool, which uses as a resident font of a printer. You can use the Morisawa fonts, Font works, Dyna font, etc.under the Windows Environment.
Many filter options are available. Direct printing out the raster data, Auto CAD to HPGL/2, DXF output, etc. You can use the color copy machine for thebusiness-use printer.
Direct print out for TIFF/PS/PDF/AI
Mistral can print TIFF or PD directry by using option. Making the system, like drect printing PS data which is made by EWS, printing TIFF directry for speed up, is possible. Also, it is possible to direct print of EPS data or AI format by specification of server/server-controller.
Mistral server can control several printers. You can make multi device Mistral printer system as you like from supported printers. For example, you can make the combination using; like use the color copy machine of A company and B company, also C company's plotter. It is possible to use 3 printers for parallel.
