Plugin Protect (Parallel Type)
Protect your privacy or data when several persons use the same PC.
Nobody can use the PC when you pull out the KEY.
PC GUARD will protect your data when you have got stolen or lost the NOTE
PC.
No data will leak from each of the PC terminals.
PC GUARD will protect your PC data when you abandon the PC.
PC GUARD will protect your attached E-MAIL data. (If you send the data
to wrong place, wrong person, or send the wrong data, nobody can open
it without the “KEY”.)
PC GUARD will help the persons to have consciousness of data protection
and data management.
■Restriction of PC use without the KEY.
If you login your PC without KEY, PC will run the screensaver or will be sleeping right after you login. You can put the KEY into your PC either it is switched ON or switched OFF.
■If
the KEY is unplugged, PC will be locked.
If you unplug the KEY when you are using the PC, it will be locked right
away and you cannot use the PC. Even if you reboot your PC, you cannot
use it without KEY.
If you set the PC GUARD setting to “Suspend”, the edited data is saved.
■You
cannot use the KEY for your PC until you register it by PC GUARD setting
application.
Even if you are using the same product, it is impossible to use your PC
using by the unregistered KEY.
When you use Windows 2000/XP, you need to set ID and username of the KEY.
Only if username and ID of the KEY match, you can access the PC.
If you login as unregistered user, it will directly run the screensaver
or stop the system.
■It
is possible to register several KEYS for one PC.
You can register several KEYS for one PC. If more than one persons use
the same PC, each user can have each KEY. (However, you cannot plug in
more than one KEY at the same time.)
■Easy
encryption, easy decryption.
If you make some encryption data with the KEY, only this KEY will be able
to decrypt.
The operation of encryption/decryption is very easy. The only thing you
need to do is drag/drop. This is much faster than the usual way (faster
than DES).
■By
using group function, it is possible to exchange encryption/ decryption
data between two or more KEYS.
Using the group function, members who know the specific group password,
can decrypt the data with the KEY. With this function, members can also
e-mail the encrypted data each other.
